Boutique Care Homes is thrilled to announce the success of its Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Mornings, raising over £600 across its three homes. Brampton Manor, Chartwell House, and The Burlington each hosted community-driven events, helping to fund Macmillan’s vital cancer support services. Brampton Manor raised £250, Chartwell House contributed £310, and The Burlington added £129 in donations.

A highlight of the day was the exciting cake auction held at Chartwell House, where residents, staff, and visitors placed bids on a range of delicious homemade cakes. The top-selling cake raised an impressive £72, which was won by a generous local bidder. This fun twist on the traditional coffee morning brought in additional donations, contributing to the home’s overall fundraising success.

Macmillan’s Coffee Morning initiative, which began in 1990, encourages people across the UK to come together over coffee and cakes to raise money for cancer care. The funds raised help support Macmillan’s incredible work, providing specialist nurses, advice, and practical support to those facing cancer.

Ameet Kotecha, Founder and Managing Director of Boutique Care Homes, expressed his pride in the team’s efforts: “I’m incredibly proud of the passion and creativity our teams brought to these events, especially the fantastic cake auction at Chartwell House. It’s inspiring to see our homes and the local community come together for such an important cause. Their generosity and enthusiasm have made a real difference.”

The success of these coffee mornings is a testament to Boutique Care Homes’ commitment to fostering a strong community spirit and supporting meaningful causes. These events continue to build connections within their care homes while making a positive impact beyond their doors.
