Boutique Care Homes Raise £607 for MacMillan Cancer Support
Residents, staff, and families at Boutique Care Homes joined forces to support MacMillan Cancer Support’s annual Coffee Morning fundraiser, collectively raising £607. The events saw team, residents & their loved ones showcasing their baking talents, participating in a cake auction, and enjoying a warm and welcoming atmosphere, all while contributing to a noble cause.
Chartwell House in Broadstairs, Kent, played a significant role in this charity endeavour, raising £405 through their spirited Cake Auction. The funds generated will support MacMillan Cancer Support’s services, aiding those affected by cancer across the UK.
Ameet Kotecha, Managing Director of Boutique Care Homes, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We are proud of our residents, their families, and our staff for their support of the MacMillan Coffee Morning. This event embodies our commitment to community and giving back.”
Brampton Manor, in Newmarket, Suffolk, raised £68, showcasing the community’s unity and determination. Akhi Goswami, Home Manager of Brampton Manor, shared his thoughts, stating, “It’s heartening to witness the generosity of our residents and their families. The funds raised will make a difference in the lives of those battling cancer.”
The Burlington, in Shepperton, Surrey, raised £134, adding to the collective effort in support of MacMillan Cancer Support. Emma Dudhee, Home Manager of The Burlington, added, “We are delighted to contribute to this worthy cause, and we extend our thanks to everyone who participated and donated. Together, we are making an impact in the fight against cancer.”
