Brampton Manor Announces Partnership with The British Horse Racing School

Brampton Manor sponsors a stable at The British Horse Racing School, supporting young talent and celebrating Newmarket’s racing heritage with the sponsorship of horse Stewart.

Brampton Manor by Boutique Care Homes located on Fordham Road in Newmarket, is thrilled to announce its sponsorship of a stable at The British Horse Racing School (BRS), a renowned institution that nurtures young talent in the world of horse racing. This partnership further strengthens Brampton Manor’s community involvement and celebrates Newmarket’s iconic equestrian heritage.

Located just outside Newmarket, the BRS is a state-of-the-art training centre that offers aspiring jockeys and stable staff hands-on learning experiences. The school boasts cutting-edge facilities, including a seven-furlong Activ-Track straight gallop, race simulators, and advanced analysis software. It provides a unique environment where young people can develop the skills and passion needed to launch a successful career in the racing industry.

Brampton Manor’s sponsorship includes a dedicated stable where Stewart, a horse currently part of the BRS programme, is stabled. The collaboration aligns perfectly with the care home’s equestrian-themed design, offering residents a special connection to Newmarket’s racing tradition. Recently, residents Pat and David enjoyed an exclusive visit to the school, meeting Stewart and learning more about the training provided to the next generation of racing professionals.

Home Manager, Akhi Goswami, shared his enthusiasm for the initiative: “We are incredibly proud to support The British Horse Racing School, an institution that plays a vital role in developing young talent in Newmarket. By sponsoring Stewart’s stable, we’re not only contributing to the school’s success but also offering our residents a unique way to engage with the town’s rich equestrian culture. We look forward to seeing Stewart thrive and to deepening our relationship with the BRS.”

Katrina Archer-Rand,  Head of Fundraising at The British Racing School commented on the partnership saying, “We are very grateful to Brampton Manor for sponsoring one of our stables. All the money we receive through sponsorship goes towards the upkeep of our 76 beautiful ex-racehorses, who do a fantastic job teaching hundreds of students each year to achieve their dream jobs in racing. We look forward to continuing our partnership together, supporting our local community in Newmarket.”

The BRS has long been committed to providing opportunities for young people, equipping them with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in the highly competitive racing world. This partnership with Brampton Manor is a testament to both organisations’ dedication to fostering community connections and supporting future generations.
