Chartwell House Shortlisted as Finalist in Dementia Friendly Kent Awards 2024

Chartwell House by Boutique Care Homes has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Dementia Friendly Kent Awards 2024 for "Most Inspiring Dementia Care Provider," recognizing their exceptional commitment to dementia care excellence.

Chartwell House by Boutique Care Homes is proud to announce that it has been shortlisted as a finalist in the prestigious Dementia Friendly Kent Awards 2024. The home has been nominated in the highly competitive category of “Most Inspiring Dementia Care Provider Award.”

This award celebrates care services that deliver significant emotional and practical benefits to people living with dementia and their families. Finalists in this category must consistently demonstrate a commitment to national and local dementia best practice initiatives, significantly enhancing the quality of care. Additionally, they must provide evidence of overwhelmingly positive feedback from residents and their families, highlighting the compassionate and effective care delivered by the Chartwell House team.

The Dementia Friendly Kent Awards have been recognising outstanding contributions to dementia care since 2014. Organized by the Kent Dementia Action Alliance in association with Kent County Council and the NHS, these awards honour individuals and groups dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by dementia. This year, the awards ceremony will be held on October 21, 2024, at Valley Park School in Maidstone, as part of the Kent Dementia Showcase event. The winners will be selected by people living with dementia and their supporters, making this recognition especially meaningful.

Diane Collins, Home Manager at Chartwell House, expressed her delight at the nomination: “We are incredibly honoured to be shortlisted for such a meaningful award. Our team at Chartwell House is deeply committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care that truly makes a difference in the lives of our residents and their families. This recognition is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of every member of our team.”

Ameet Kotecha, Managing Director of Boutique Care Homes, added: “At Boutique Care Homes, our mission is to create environments where residents can thrive, and our commitment to dementia care is a cornerstone of that mission. Being named a finalist for the Most Inspiring Dementia Care Provider Award is a significant achievement for Chartwell House, and we are incredibly proud of the team for their relentless dedication to enhancing the lives of those we care for.”
