The Burlington Celebrates Perfect Food Hygiene Rating

The Burlington by Boutique Care Homes is delighted to announce that it has been awarded a 5 out of 5, “Very Good” rating in its recent food hygiene inspection. This prestigious accolade, given by the Food Standards Agency as part of their Food Hygiene Rating Scheme, reflects our unwavering commitment to providing top-quality care and dining experiences for our residents.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) operates the Food Hygiene Rating Scheme to ensure that food served to the public meets high standards of safety and hygiene. The rating encompasses three critical areas: hygienic food handling, cleanliness and condition of facilities and building, and management of food safety.

The Burlington received a “Good” rating for hygienic food handling, showcasing our meticulous food handling practices during preparation, cooking, reheating, cooling, and storage. We achieved a “Very Good” rating for the cleanliness and condition of our facilities, demonstrating our dedication to maintaining a pristine environment. Additionally, our management of food safety earned a “Very Good” rating, underscoring our commitment to ensuring food safety through effective systems, team training, and the confidence of the food safety officer in our ongoing standards.
